What is Human Passport?
Human Passport is a non-centralized identification verification protocol aimed at blocking the Sybil attackers and allowing in only real human beings. It is a privacy-first solution that enables Web3 applications to confirm humanity without gathering sensitive data – through the use of clever zero-knowledge proofs.
This initiative facilitates community builders in creating more reliable communities by screening out bots and evil-doers, and thereby allowing fairer and more meaningful ecosystem participation in the long run.
The protocol that was initially introduced as Gitcoin Passport changed its name to Human Passport after 0xHolonym Foundation bought it for $10 million in February 2025 and rebranded it.
Human Passport is combining biometric stamps, mobile verification, and on-chain activity proofs — all of which are supported by ZK technology — to make its presence felt as a must-have Web3 identity infrastructure.
Airdrop Link: Join points campaign
What is the Airdrop about?
Human Passport has launched Season 1 of its SUMR airdrop program, where a points-based system called HUMN Points has been introduced. These points may determine your eligibility for future token rewards, governance rights, and ecosystem perks.
Early Adopter Bonus
If you managed to verify your identity and got a Humanity Score of 20+ before July 13, 2025, then you’ll be given a 2x multiplier on all HUMN Points, in other words, the total points will be doubled — a great thing to do.

How to Step-By-Step Farm HUMN Points
1. Open the Human Passport Application
Go to their official website, and then connect your wallet. (Please note: only one wallet per user is allowed.)
2. Build Your Humanity Score
The number of points you’ll be able to earn depends on your Humanity Score. To start collecting HUMN, the minimum of 20 points is required.
One of the ways through which you will be rewarded with points is by the accomplishment of the various types of “Stamps” – every stamp is a proof of humanity.
3. Collect Stamps (The Right Ones)
Your score is increased by:
- ✅ Phone Verification
- ✅ Biometric Stamps (privacy-preserving via ZK proofs)
- ✅ Socials: Twitter, Discord, etc.
- ✅ Onchain Activity (interactions on Ethereum, Optimism, zkSync, etc.)
- ✅ GitHub Account Link (important for devs)
4. Mint Your Onchain Passport
To the onchain minting section, go to after verifying. A new onchain identity proof is created here — and thus more HUMN Points are in your account.
5. Monitor Your Progress
It is by tapping the HUMN icon located at the top right corner of the app that you get access to seeing your progress. The points visible on hovering are:
- Total HUMN Points
- Breakdown of where they came from
- Multiplier status (if eligible)
6. Stay Engaged
Keep in mind that this is a marathon — not a sprint. Thus, you can keep your score growing by this means:
- 🔍 Get through fresh stamp challenges
- 🐣 Find secret “easter egg” tasks
- 📆 Make sure your stamps are still valid
- 💯 Keep your Humanity Score above 20 at all times
💡 Tips to Maximize Your HUMN Points
- Prioritize High-Value Stamps Biometric and phone verifications are usually the biggest point sources.
- Check Your Multiplier If you are a first verifier, be sure that the 2x multiplier is the one that is displayed on your profile. This means that every point you gather is double.
- Diversify Your Stamps More the kinds of verifications you complete, the more potent your Humanity Score and airdrop eligibility will be.
